This unit examines the economics of property development as well as the process itself. We examine just how a decision to develop a property is made, the stages in the development process and the key actors involved as well as the role of the planning system. However, the main focus of the unit is on the financial viability of a development project. Students will use a variety of models to assess viability, measure risk and then recommend development options to clients -- Course Website
